A man found boxes and bags containing animal parts, including a headless goat, in Northeast Philadelphia's Pennypack Park Friday night.
The man was walking his dog around 11:54 p.m. when he saw several trash bags and a box with a headless goat and chicken parts. The bags contained dead roosters and chickens.
Animal Control was contacted to pick up the remains. Some investigators have reportedly speculated that they may have been used in a religious sacrifice.
