A Somerville man who was previously on the state’s Most Wanted list was arrested Friday night for allegedly buying heroin at the JFK/UMass MBTA station.

Daniel Merrill, 28, is accused of trying to pay $85 for bags of the drug around 9 p.m. The alleged dealer, Derick Anderson, 40, of Dorchester, was also arrested at the scene.

According to Transit Police, Merrill was wanted in 2011 for allegedly robbing a Citizens Bank in Somerville’s Davis Square. According to the report, Merrill approached a teller and passed a demand note indicating he had a bomb. The teller complied, handing over an undetermined amount of money.

Both Merrill and Anderson are expected to be arraigned Monday on various drug charges.
