Man held in murder over parking

Fernando Aristy, 24, of Chelsea, pleaded not guilty yesterday to murder in the beating death of Chad McDonald, 34, of Peabody.

LYNN – Fernando Aristy, 24, of Chelsea, pleaded not guilty yesterday to murder in the beating death of Chad McDonald, 34, of Peabody.

Aristy allegedly beat the victim with a 2-by-4 in a dispute over a parking spot at Jim Appleyard Bonded Storage in Lynn. McDonald died of his injuries at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Oct. 20.
