Police responded to a shooting scene in Roxbury early Monday.

Police are searching for the gunman responsible for the shooting death of a man in Roxbury early Monday.
Officers were called to the area of Dabney and Regent streets in Roxbury at about 1 a.m. Monday for a report of a person shot, Boston police said.
When officers arrived they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The unidentified man was taken to Boston Medical Center were he later died.
Authorities are investigating.
