A man in his 20s who was walking in the Fenway neighborhood early Monday morning was robbed and stabbed in the arm.

 

Boston police said officers were called to 57 Hemenway St. at about 12:01 a.m. on Monday for a report of a person stabbed.

 

When officers arrived they found the man with a stab wound to his elbow. The man told officers he was walking in the area of Belvidere Street when he noticed a man following him.

 

The man asked the victim if he had any money. When the victim declined, the man attacked the victim and stabbed him. The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money and personal documents.

The victim was taken to a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.
