A man jumped in front of an E train this morning, according to reports.
The man, who survived, joined a sad string of people jumping in front of trains recently.
According to the Daily News, he was the eighth person injured or killed by a train since Wednesday.
He reportedly jumped in front of a train at the Northern Boulevard Station in Queens around 5:30 a.m.
The train was headed toward Manhattan.
The man is in serious condition.
Last month, the City Council called an emergency hearing to respond to a number of train-station injuries.
