Police killed a man in a shootout shortly after he shot and killed his ex-wife in front of their daughter in Feasterville on Thursday night.
Lower Southampton Township police told NBC10 that Kenneth Philipp, 50, fired a shotgun into a car occupied by his ex-wife and daughter outside a Bustleton Pike dress shop. Philipp's ex-wife died from the gunfire, and the 16-year-old girl reportedly was injured by shattered glass.

Police tracked Philipp to Buck and Holland roads in Northampton, where the 50-year-old man reportedly exited his vehicle and opened fire on the officers. Police returned fire, killing Philipp.
One police officer reportedly was injured in the exchange of gunfire.
Philipp reportedly had served jail time for assaulting his ex-wife with a knife.
