Man mauled by pit bulls

BROOKLYN – A Chinese restaurant owner handing out menus was badly mauled by three pit bulls when he entered a fenced yard despite a “Beware of Dog” sign. Xiu Ming Li, 52, was bitten on his arms, legs, and head, losing part of an ear to the 3-year-old pit bulls. One dog died in custody; the other two are likely be returned to their owners, police said.
