A man was hospitalized early Thursday morning after he was pistol-whipped during a home invasion in Olney.
Police said two gunmen around 3 a.m. broke through the rear door of a home on the 300 block of East Gale Street.
Two men were home at the time.
The suspects allegedly struck one of the men, 40, in the head with a gun.
The gunmen made off with jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash, according to investigators.

The victim who was pistol-whipped was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he received two stitches to close a head wound.
He was in stable condition Thursday morning.
No arrests have yet been made.
