Man robbed in Wilmington shopping center parking lot

Delaware State Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly robbed a man in the parking lot of the Canby Park Shopping Center in Wilmington.

Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery Wednesday of a 44-year-old man in the parking lot of a Wilmington shopping center.

Investigators said the victim shortly before 11:45 a.m. exited his vehicle in the parking lot of the Canby Park Shopping Center, located at 1932 Maryland Ave.

A man armed with a handgun approached the victim and allegedly demanded cash, which the victim turned over.

Police said at the same time, a second suspect entered the victim's vehicle and removed his wallet from inside.

Both men then fled.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspects are both described as black males between the ages of 20 and 25.

Police said one suspect is about 5-feet-4 inches tall with an average build, while the second is approximately 5-feet-2 inches tall with a heavy build.
