Arobber threatened an employee at a check cashing business in Queens with a lighter on Sunday, police said.
Police said the hold-up occurred in the early morning, about 2:30 a.m.
The suspect barged into ATN Financial Services on Corona Avenue and demanded cash, police said.
He squirted lighter fluid through the teller's window, then waved a lighter at the employee, threatening to set fire to the business, according to police.
The employee handed over cash and the suspect fled. No one was injured in the incident, of which police have provided the above surveillance video.
The NYPD asks anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
