A man was shot and killed Sunday night in the school yard of Pratt Elementary School, located at 2200 N. 22nd St. in North Philadelphia.
Investigators said officers shortly before 9:40 p.m. responded to a radio call reporting a person with a gun on the 2200 block of West Dauphin Street.

There, officers found the body 29-year-old Tyrone Ronald Sturgis, of the 1400 block of West 66th Avenue in Midwest Oak Lane.
He had been shot multiple times in the chest, back and abdomen.
Police said Sturgis was shot in the schoolyard of Pratt Elementary but ran about three blocks to a property near 21st and Dauphin streets, where he collapsed on the steps.
Investigators have not determined a motive, and no arrests have yet been made.
