Man shot, killed while visiting grandmom in South Philadelphia

The victim was behind his grandmother's home talking with three or four other males when three or four gunshots reportedly were fired.

A 27-year-old man was gunned down while visiting with his grandmother in South Philadelphia Thursday night.

The fatal shooting happened about 10 p.m. on the 2600 block of Wolf Street, 6ABC Action News reports.

The victim was reportedly behind his grandmother's home talking with three or four other males when several gunshots were fired. One of those shots hit the victim in the head, killing him.

The victim was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania a short time later.

Philadelphia police are investigating.
