A man in his early 20s was shot and killed while riding a bicycle Friday morning a block away from where an armored car was robbed a day earlier in Northeast Philadelphia, reports say.
The man was shot twice in the head and once in the shoulder while riding a mountain bike around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Rhawn and Walker Streets in Holmesburg, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene with his legs still wrapped around the bike, according to NBC Philadelphia.
The homicide was a block away from the Wells Fargo bank on the 8000 block of Frankford Avenue where four men, wearing Scream masks, stole $300,000 from an armored car.
No arrests have been made in either incident.
