UPDATE, 9:41 a.m.: A 22-year-old Delaware man is in stable condition Friday morning at Temple University Hospital after he was shot seven times in Kensington late Thursday.

The shooting happened about 11:15 p.m. on the 2500 block of North Howard Street.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds to his leg, thigh and arm, according to Philadelphia police spokeswoman Officer Jill Russell. Police rushed him to the hospital in critical condition.

No arrests had been made as of about 9:30 a.m. Friday.

A man reportedly was shot seven times when gunshots rang out in Kensington Thursday night.

The gunfire happened on the 2500 block of North Howard Street about 11:15 p.m., 6ABC Action News reports. Police rushed the victim, who appeared to be in his 30s, to a local hospital for treatment. He was in critical condition, according to the report.

The windshield to a nearby parked vehicle was shot out by the gunman.

No arrests have been made.
