A man was stabbed at about 6 a.m. Sunday morning after he tried to quiet down a group of rowdy, drunk girls on the 6 train, according to the New York Daily News. The man, 63, told the girls to calm down as the train pulled into the 23rd Street station, according to the report. But that's when one of the girls allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the bystander in the shoulder. He is recovering at Bellevue Hospital.
