Man stabbed in subway seat brawl

A man was stabbed in a fight over a subway seat last night, in a brawl that started on the train and spilled out into the streets, according to reports.

The fight happened on a southbound F train, according to reports, at 9:40 p.m. Monday. A man began arguing with two others over a subway seat.

The trio of men got off the F train at 4th Avenue/9th Street stop in Park Slope and the fighting continued as they walked up onto the street.

One of the men was stabbed in his back and right leg. His injuries were non-life-threatening and he was taken to Long Island College Hospital for treatment.

The other men, suspects in the stabbing, were also treated at the hospital for minor injuries after they resisted police arrest.
