A man was stabbed in Union Square this afternoon, police confirmed to Metro.
The stabbing occurred at East 14th Street and Union Square East, just after 2:30 p.m. When police got there, they found a 37-year-old man stabbed in the face. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, said police, where he remains in stable condition.
Police are now combing the area for the suspect, said to be an overweight man in his 30s who fled east on 14th Street, according to DNAInfo. No arrests have been made yet.
