Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer launches after hours farmers market in East Harlem

Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer is hosting the city’s first ever nighttime farmers’ market. The farmers’ market will be held in East Harlem on Thursday evening, from 4 to 9 p.m.

Stringer’s office notes that many city residents miss out on daytime farmer’s markets because of work commitments, so this initiative aims to give East Harlem residents the opportunity to shop for fresh produce and baked goods after hours.

The Harlem Pop-Up Greenmarket will be located at The Harlem Treasure Chest Flea Market on the corner of 117th and Frederick Douglass Boulevard.
