The LGBT Pride Parade, festivals and fairs will cause street closures and traffic delays in New York City this weekend.

The Department of Transportation and NYPD said drivers should expect delays near the closures.

Friday, June 27

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the DOT Weekend Walks Pitkin Avenue Summer Plazas will close Pitkin Avenue between Strauss and Amboy stress in Brooklyn.

The NYC Police Museum Fair will close North Moore Street between West and Greenwich streets between 12 and 6 p.m.

Saturday, June 28

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the DOT Weekend Walks Hamilton Heights-Sugar Hill Annual Cultural Festival will close Hamilton Place between 142nd Street and Amsterdam Avenue and 143rd Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Hamilton Place.

Weekend Walks Chinatown Partnership will close Mott Street between Canal and Worth Street from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sixth Avenue, between West 42nd and West 56th streets, will be closed from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Americas Summer Festival and Global Role Models Festival.

The Governeur Parent’s Association Parade, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. will close streets near its route in upper Manhattan, along Madison Avenue between 105th and 116th streets, 116th Street between Madison and Pleasant avenues and Pleasant Avenue between 116th and 120th streets.

Sunday, June 29

The LGBT Heritage of Pride March and Festival will close numerous streets from 12 to 6 p.m. in Manhattan near the event. The parade route is Fifth Avenue between 41st and Eighth streets, Eighth Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues, Christopher Street between Sixth Avenue and Greenwich Street and Greenwich Street between Christopher and Leroy streets. The festival is on Hudson Street between Bethune and West 14th Street and West 13th Street between Ninth Avenue and Fourth Street.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Vanderbilt YMCA Lexington Avenue Festival will close Lexington Avenue between East 42nd and East 53rd streets.

DOT Weekend Walks Summer Sundays in the Heights will close down Edward Morgan Place between 156th and 157th Streets from 1 to 5 p.m. in upper Manhattan.

The Flatbush Avenue Festival will close Flatbush Avenue between Parkside Avenue and Cortelyou Road in Brooklyn.
