Gov. Deval Patrick has a new title: grandpa.
The eldest daughter of Patrick and his wife Diane gave birth to a son Monday moring. Sarah Baker Patrick Morgese gave birth to Gianluca Noah Patrick Morgese in San Francisco. It is the Patricks’ first grandchild.
The boy was two months early and weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces, but a statement from Patrick’s office said that mother and son are doing well.
“Poppy and Nonna (aka the Governor and the First Lady) are over the moon,” the statement said.
