Mattapan massacre: Not guilty verdicts reached, mistrial declared for other defendant

A Suffolk Superior Court jury found one of the defendants not guilty and the other defendant will be tried again because of a deadlock.

Edward Washington was acquitted on all charges in the 2010 murders of Eyanna Flonory, her 2-year-old son, Amanihotep Smith, Simba Martin and Levaughn Washum-Garrison.

Dwayne Moore was found not guilty on a drug charge, however jurors were unable to reach a verdict on his murder charges after seven days of deliberations.

The judge declared a mistrial on those indictments.
