The man told police that on Sunday at about 3 p.m., he was physically restrained and possibly assaulted by "housemates" at his house, police said.
The man was unable to escape the home, reports say.
Three suspects then allegedly used a tattoo gun to permanently write inappropriate words and pictures on both of the man's arms.
At press-time police were obtaining search warrants and had four suspects in custody awaiting possible criminal charges.
