MBTA buses replace some Red Line trains this weekend

Red Line riders will be forced to take shuttle buses between Kendall Square and Broadway Station this weekend as the MBTA conducts work at Park Street.

According to T officials, trains will be replaced by shuttle buses from Saturday, April 28 until the end of service on Sunday.

At Broadway, customers can board replacement buses at street level at the corner of Dorchester Avenue and Broadway.

If riders are taking a train from South Station toward Broadway, they should board on Summer Street at the bus shelter. Customers traveling toward Kendall will board buses on Summer Street at the Federal Reserve Bank.

Customers seeking connections to the Orange Line at Downtown Crossing are encouraged to use Park Street Station.

Visit the MBTA website for more details about this weekend’s changes.
