MBTA Cops: Suspect touched himself on train twice

Transit police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man they say was committing “lewd acts” on a Red Line train over the weekend.

According to police reports, on Friday, March 23, between the Braintree and Broadway MBTA Stations, the suspect stood in front of a victim while continuing to inappropriately touch himself.

Police said this happened twice during the trip.

The victim’s friend was able to take a photo of the suspect with her cell phone.

The subject is described as a white male, 20-30 years of age, with short brown hair, and a goatee. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a long sleeve green and orange striped polo shirt, khaki shorts, dark Nike sneakers, and was carrying a large suitcase.
