MBTA service is operating on a regular weekday schedule, effective this morning, however the Green Line's Riverside Lot was closed due to an excessive amount of tree limbs that had fallen from Tropical Storm Irene.
Tree removal activities conducted by the city of Newton and NStar will keep the Riverside Parking facility closed for the time being.
The MBTA asks customers who use the lot to park at other facilities such as Woodland Station.
