MBTA police: Woman poured bleach on a man's face

Officials are searching for a woman who allegedly poured bleach on a man's face during a robbery on an MBTA bus this week.

Officials are searching for three women, one of whom allegedly poured bleach on a man's face during a robbery on an MBTA bus this week.

Transit Police today released surveillance images of the suspects, including one of a woman who appears to be pouring liquid from a water bottle. The alleged attack happened around 2 a.m. Sunday on a Route 28 bus on Blue Hill Avenue. Police said the victim was assisted by others in flushing his eyes after the assault.

The woman faces charges of unarmed robbery, assault and battery and mayhem. A substance believed to be bleach, was doused in the victim's face during the assault and subsequent robbery.
