Two families can breathe sighs of relief today.
After a massive search for missing Brookline teenager Caleb Jacoby, the 16-year-old was found safe in New York City on Thursday evening.
According to Brookline Police, Caleb was found in the Times Square area around 9 p.m. after authorities corresponded with the New York Police Department. They are currently working to transport the Maimonides School student back home.
Caleb is the son of popular Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby, who took to Twitter to express his gratitude over the discovery of his son.
“Our prayers have been answered,” Jeff Jacoby tweeted Thursday night. “We are thrilled to hear from the Brookline Police that our beloved son Caleb has been found and is safe. Words can’t express our gratitude for the extraordinary outpouring of kindness and support that we have received from so many people.”

But the Jacoby family isn't the only one that's relieved this morning.Topsfield 15-year-old Marlena Voss, who disappeared while riding her bike in Ipswich on Monday, was also found by authorities on Thursday evening. Ipswich Police stated that Marlena was located in Boston, but did not elaborate on the situation.
