The body of a missing 83-year-old Queens man was found in water on Long Island early Wednesday, police said.
William Braxton was first reported missing Saturday, when police said he was last seen leaving his Jamaica home about noon. The NYPD issued a Silver Alert that night.
Four days later, Nassau County police found Braxton's body in water several miles from his home at around 3 p.m. somewhere near Doughty Boulevard in the Inwood section of Long Island.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of Braxton's death, but police don't suspect any criminality at this time.
