Lyons was pronounced dead at the scene, but the baby was rushed to Brookdale Hospital. He ultimately did not survive either.
The Medical Examiner is working to determine the cause of death, while the police continue their investigation. Police said there were no visible signs of trauma to either the mother or the baby, and no suicide note found.
A bottle of Oxycodone with six pills missing was found at the scene, police said, but they don't think either victim died of an overdose.
