The mother of an abandoned baby boy was arrested Monday after the infant was found inside a stroller in a Harlem park on Sunday night.

Police said 18-year-old Kenyetta Rowell of Staten Island was charged with reckless endangerment, failure to exercise control over a minor and filing a false report.

Her baby, about six months old, was found inside a stroller by a good Samaritan in Renaissance Playground on West 143rd Street about 9 p.m., police and fire officials said.

The child was injured, clothed and bundled up in blankets, police said. He was taken to Harlem Hospital and later brought to the Administration of Children’s Services.

The child’s parents went to the precinct Monday and were questioned before Rowell was charged. A law enforcement official said Rowell originally told investigators the baby was missing.
