A woman and her young daughter were injured in a Nicetown double shooting yesterday evening.
The woman, 34, and her daughter, 13, were leaving a residence on the 1900 block of Rowan Street around 7:30 p.m. when they head gunshots. The two ran back inside the house, but had already been hit.
The daughter was shot in the right thigh, while her mother was shot twice in the lower back.
Both were taken to Temple University Hospital, where the mother was listed in stable condition and the daughter was treated and released.
Police believe they have identified the shooter, but the investigation is ongoing.
