A woman was killed and her daughter injured in a knife attack in Merchantville, Camden County, on Wednesday night.
The double stabbing happened about 10:45 a.m. on the 100 block of Prospect Street, 6ABC Action News reports.
Police say a man forced his way into the home of his girlfriend’s mother, then stabbed her and his girlfriend, according to the report.
The woman, in her 40s, died at the hospital a short time later. The girlfriend, in her 20s, is in stable condition.
Police have a suspect in custody after a man showed up at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden for treatment of cuts to his hands.
