NEW YORK. MTA Chairman Jay Walder said he’s learned one thing from the public hearings on fare hikes: Most riders don’t want a capped, 90-day pass. “It’s safe to say there hasn’t been a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for the idea of a capped pass,” he said yesterday.
