MTA unveils new signs

The MTA installed these electronic screens at Grand Central and outside a station entrance at Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street. The screens tell riders which lines are running and which are delayed. The MTA plans to install them systemwide, on buses, and on LIRR and Metro-North. The signs are designed to be vandal-resistant, said MTA officials.
