The MTA will review the entire G train line, politicians said today.
State Sens. Daniel Squadron and Martin Dilan said today that the MTA has ordered a full review of the line, to be completed by June.
The senators sent a letter last month asking them to look into the line, similar to previous reviews of the F and the L line.
G train riders have long complained that the trains are spaced too far apart and endure multiple service disruptions.
A Riders Alliance member said that sometimes the platform gets so crowded, “I just decide to walk 20 minutes to the L train.”
“G train riders spoke,” Squadron said. “Now, this Full Line Review will give us real answers to lead to real changes.”
“The G train is often maligned, but it’s vitally important for the residents of North Brooklyn,” added Riders Alliance director John Raskin.
