A 33-year-old New Jersey man was arrested Saturday for the murder of a Philadelphia man, police said Monday.
Around 11 p.m. Christopher Fields, of Newark, New Jersey, was arrested after he fled the scene of the shooting at 5th Street and Roosevelt Boulevard, police said.
He was caught and charged for the shooting of 43-year-old Todd Riley and Riley's passenger, a 31-year-old woman, in Riley's tan 2003 Buick Century.
Both victims were transported to Temple Hospital by police.

Riley, of the 1300 block of Wingohocking Street, was pronounced dead, while the woman is listed in stable condition.
Fields was charged with murder, violation of uniform firearms act, among others.
