Next stop, Wonderland

A lot of people riding the Blue Line on the T may asks themselves, where the heck is Wonderland?

No, it’s not a spot where a white rabbit leads you into a world of talking cats and hookah-smoking caterpillars — it’s the last stop on a train ride to Revere.

On Friday, Gov. Deval Patrick will join T officials and others for the groundbreaking of the Revere Wonderland Station Public Plaza and Pedestrian Bridge.

Almost as luxurious as an imaginary land with queens and tea parties galore.

The MBTA has joined forces with Revere city officials, the Department of Conservation and Recreation and a private developer to consolidate the at-grade parking around Wonderland Station and provide safer and more convenient pedestrian connections between Wonderland Station, adjacent neighborhoods, and historic Revere Beach to the east, according to reports.

Take the Blue Line to the last stop, or drive. Here are the directions.

Directions From Boston via car: Take Route 1A North to the Revere Traffic Circle. At the traffic circle, take 2nd exit onto North Shore Road. Wonderland Station will be on your right.
