WEST OAK LANE – SEPTA defended its response to a bus that was stranded overnight with nine passengers during Wednesday’s storm.
The Route 22 bus hit a pole and ran into a snow bank at Broad Street and 71st Avenue around 9:55 p.m., officials said. The passengers chose to sit on the fully-heated vehicle until a SEPTA tow operator freed the bus at 6:45 a.m.
