Fire officials responded to a fire Tuesday morning that broke out at the Bowery Hotel.

 

The fire reportedly started in the elevator machine room on the third floor of the 17-story hotel.

 

Fire officials were notified around 10:58 a.m., the FDNY said. They had the fire under control by 11:49 a.m., with the work of 20 units and about 78 firefighters.

 

It has been deemed an accidental fire, officials said. No injuries were reported.
