A 54-year-old man was shot on his front steps early Wednesday by a passing motorist, police said.
The man was shot in his legs at 3:44 a.m. at his home, near the intersection of 19th and West Berks Streets, police said.
Police said the the shooter and victim most likely know each other, and an arrest may happen as soon as today.
The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
