Northeastern University and city officials announced plans for a new 720-bed residence hall to be built on St. Botolph Street.
The new, $75-million residence hall will be 16 stories and will be built on YMCA property, the Boston Redevelopment Authority said Friday.
It is expected to open in Sept. 2013.
