Police are hoping to identify a group of bikers who stopped traffic in Washington Heights in a stunt earlier this week.
About a dozen motorcycle and ATV drivers shut down traffic on Broadway in both directions to pop wheelies and spin dangerously outside a funeral home near West 190th Street on Sunday about 3:55 p.m., according to police and a video of the incident uploaded earlier this week to YouTube.
Police said the drivers are wanted for reckless endangerment, saying the stunt risked serious physical injury to onlookers, pedestrians and other motorists.
Cops ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or to submit a tip online.
The incident occurred roughly a dozen blocks from where a biker gang assaultedSUV driver Alexian Lien, 33, after a chase on the West Side Highway. Multiple arrests were made in that incident.
