NYPD Officer Eder Loor released from hospital after stabbed in head

Police Officer Eder Loor, 28, was released from Mount Sinai Hospital today, fifteen days after he was stabbed in the brain by a crazed suspect.

Loor has been in the hospital since April 17, the day he was stabbed by an emotionally disturbed man in Manhattan.

The stab wound penetrated his skull and nicked a cerebral artery.

Loor was met with applause from fellow officers, with his wife Dina by his side. The couple is expecting a baby in July.
