NYPD: Robber makes 90-year-old man drive to Queens ATMs after grabbing his neck
A robber grabbed an elderly man's neck outside a Queens supermarket, stole his wallet and made him drive to ATMs for withdrawals last week, police said.
Police are looking for a robber they said grabbed an elderly man by the neck outside of a Queens supermarket, stole his wallet and made him drive to two ATMs for withdrawals.
The 90-year-old man was leaving a Stop and Shop at34-51 48th Streeton Friday around 10:45 a.m. when a man grabbed him by his neck and demanded his wallet, the NYPD said.
The robber then demanded the man's PIN number and forced him to drive to the ATMs so he could withdraw cash, police said.
The suspect is described as black, in his 30s and has braids.
