The city's top cop is now on Twitter.
New NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton sent his first tweet from @CommissBratton on Thursday, embracing social media in a way former top cop Ray Kelly never did.
"Enjoyed addressing command staff at #Compstat this a.m. We invented it in '94, glad to see how far it has come," the commissioner tweeted along with a picture of himself at a Compstat meeting Thursday morning.
