Obama returns to New York City for fundraiser on Monday, July 30

The Commander-in-Chief will return to New York City Monday evening for yet another quick-stop fundraising visit to The Big Apple.

President Barack Obama will attend a $40,000-per-plate dinner with supporters at the swanky NoMad hotel on Broadway and 28th Street.

Obama is scheduled to land at JFK Airport just before 5 p.m., at 4:40 p.m. today. He is expected to land at the Wall Street heliport sometime after that and then drive up the FDR Drive to the dinner, which starts just after 8 p.m.

Expect traffic during the evening rush-hour in East Midtown to be backed up for the presidential motorcade, as well as the FDR to be closed south of 42nd Street tonight, according to reports in the Post and Daily News.

His flight then leaves JFK at 9:35 p.m. to head back to Washington, D.C.

Before today, Obama was most recently in the city last month, where he attended a fundraising dinner held at the West Village brownstone of Sarah Jessica Parker and co-hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour. That also cost the well-heeled attendees $40,000 a head.
