In response to Mayor Micheal Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly’s plans to “clean” Zuccotti Park tomorrow morning, protesters have promised to prevent the entry of officials at any cost.

“This is an occupation, not a permitted picnic,” said Occupy Wall Street spokesman Patrick Bruner.

Bloomberg plans to dispatch cleaning crews to power wash the park at 7 a.m., but protesters will not be able to bring sleeping bags or "gear" back into the park.

Protesters see it as an eviction notice.

“If Bloomberg truly cares about sanitation here he should support the installation of portopans and dumpsters,” Bruner said.

Protesters and their supporters plan to form a human wall around the park beginning at 6 a.m. They have also organized a thorough cleaning of the park all day.

“Occupy Wall Street is committed to keeping the park clean and safe we even have a Sanitation Working Group whose purpose this is,” Bruner said. “We know where the real dirt is: on Wall Street.”
