An officer and three suspects were injured during a car chase-turned foot pursuit in North Philadelphia Friday evening.
When police responded to a report of vehicle allegedly stolen from Bensalem that was being driven on 13th and Diamond streets around 7:30 p.m., three suspects crashed the car and tried to escape on foot.
One man jumped over a concrete barrier, not realizing that it had a 30-foot drop, and was critically injured.
Two other suspects suffered minor injuries and a police officer twisted his ankle during the chase. He was treated and released at Roxborough Hospital.
