MBTA transit police wrangled up three people wanted by Massachusetts court systems after they allegedly engaged in petty crimes on the T Monday.

Kerrin Donahue, 31 of New Bedford, was arrested around 10 a.m. at Ruggles Station after she allegedly lit up a cigarette under a "No Smoking" sign. Transit police approached her to issue a ticket, and discovered she had a warrant out for shoplifting.

Hours later, at Downtown Crossing Station, Alexa Lee, 23 of Eat Boston was caught allegedly evading fare by entering through the "exit only" gates as passengers departed the station. Lee was found to have two warrants out for her arrest - one for shoplifting and another for malicious destruction of property.

Patrick Linksy, 43, of South Boston was arrested at 4 p.m. at Andrew Square station after he allegedly "piggybacked" behind a paying customer. Transit police said he had a warrant out for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
